Data Security
Data security involves safeguarding data against unauthorized access and corruption throughout its entire lifecycle. This encompasses various measures such as encryption, hashing, tokenization, and key management practices, which provide protection across all applications and platforms. Its goal is to prevent data loss and defend against attacks, including ransomware and other threats that can encrypt, destroy, or manipulate data.
PHYSICAL SECURITY
We take data security seriously and have implemented several measures to protect our clients' documents. Our premises are equipped with closed circuit cameras to monitor and secure the work area, while our workstations are configured to prevent unauthorized access. Specifically, our workstations do not have CD R/W drives, and the USB ports are disabled to prevent data transfer. Access to the server is restricted, with only the Manager authorized to access it. Furthermore, access to the server is authenticated by the Administrator Password, ensuring maximum protection of our clients' data.
DIGITAL SECURITY
Protecting data from theft and damage is essential in today's digital world, as it includes sensitive information, personal data, intellectual property, and governmental and industry information systems. At Vihan Solutions, we take digital security seriously and have implemented several measures to safeguard our clients' data.
To ensure the highest level of protection, all workstations are installed with anti-virus software that checks for updates daily and performs a quick scan daily. We also schedule boot scans and full scans on a weekly and monthly basis, respectively. Additionally, anti-malware software runs a quick scan twice a day on all computers.
All computers are password-protected, and the server and workstations are configured to lock after three minutes of inactivity, requiring re-authentication to unlock again. We also schedule regular backup operations to prevent data loss.
To further enhance security, we do not allow the use of personal email accounts, and access to various internet sites is restricted and controlled. These measures ensure that our clients' data remains safe and secure.
